I have a blog too and I am a MUCH junior gardener and MUCH junior knitter. I wonder if I've ever seen you at the Yarn Lounge?

Anyway, I digress... I have prepared my backyard for sod. I spent the weekend having it tilled and flattening it. I was going to head up to a local nursery when - like you - in a "hail mary" attempt, I thought I'd check the Internet to see if there was something more ecologically friendly.

Would you mind telling me if you recommend the bermuda? I was planning on going with Tall Fescue from Brookmeade, but you have me doubting myself. Should I call Jeffrey Carter?

My e-mail is akennedy at verizon.net ... Thanks in advance!
- Anne / Aunt CrazyAnnehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11999879150331258462noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-721110213197648516.post-37017957255760297222009-04-17T11:35:00.000-07:002009-04-17T11:35:00.000-07:00Welcome back! Even though we have a large veggie garden, I only grow cherry tomatoes because we love to pop them in our mouths. No knives needed.

I'm going to read that article, it sounds wonderful!Laurie (Moo!)http://meshugemoo.wordpress.comnoreply@blogger.com
